Itinerary:


Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek – Transfer to Okonjima

  • Arrive in Windhoek and transfer to Okonjima Nature Reserve, home of the AfriCat Foundation.

  • Settle into your luxury lodge and enjoy your first sundowner in the bush.

  • Evening briefing on wildlife conservation efforts.

 

Overnight: Okonjima Lodge


Day 2: Okonjima – AfriCat Experience & Cheetah Tracking

  • Morning visit to the AfriCat Foundation to learn about predator conservation.

  • Afternoon guided cheetah tracking experience in the reserve.

  • Optional nature walk or relax at the lodge pool.

 

Overnight: Okonjima Lodge


Day 3: Okonjima to Waterberg Plateau

  • Scenic drive to the Waterberg Plateau, a lush red sandstone mountain rising above the plains.

  • Afternoon nature walk with local guide, exploring flora, fauna, and birdlife.


 Overnight: Waterberg Wilderness Lodge or similar


Day 4: Waterberg – Rhino Tracking Adventure

  • Early morning guided rhino tracking on foot – an unforgettable conservation-focused experience.

  • Afternoon at leisure or optional guided hike along the plateau rim.


Overnight: Waterberg Wilderness Lodge


Day 5: Waterberg to Etosha National Park (Southern Gate / Private Reserve)

  • Depart for Etosha National Park via a scenic drive.

  • Enter through the southern gate and settle into a private lodge bordering the park.

  • Afternoon game drive in private reserve or Etosha.


Overnight: Private Safari Lodge near Etosha South


Day 6: Etosha National Park – Big Five Safari

  • Full-day safari in Etosha, home to elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, and more.

  • Visit iconic waterholes and expansive salt pans.

  • Morning and afternoon game drives with experienced guides.

 

Overnight: Private Safari Lodge


Day 7: Etosha to Swakopmund via Spitzkoppe

  • Travel southwest through dramatic desert landscapes.

  • Stop at Spitzkoppe, the "Matterhorn of Namibia", for a picnic lunch and photography at rock arches.

  • Arrive in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund.

Day 8: Marine Cruise & Beach Lunch

  • Morning marine cruise in Walvis Bay: spot dolphins, seals, pelicans, and sunfish (Mola Mola).

  • Fresh seafood beach lunch with bubbly served on the sand.

  • Afternoon at leisure for shopping, galleries, or café hopping.

Day 9: Desert Adventure & Stargazing

  • Morning or sunset guided quadbike or horseback ride into the nearby dunes.

  • Discover desert-adapted life and enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic coast.

  • Evening stargazing session under Namibia's famously dark skies.

Day 10: Departure

• Transfer to Walvis Bay or Windhoek for onward travel.
